This policy explains what information The Glow Up Method collects through this website and through our emails and text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.

“We,” “us” and “our” mean The Glow Up Method, owned by Leily Santos-Carrion, APRN-C, at 8717 NW 117th St, Bay #3, Hialeah, FL 33018.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you join our mailing list, we collect your email address, your first name if you give it, and your mobile number if you choose to receive text messages. When you email us or book an appointment, we receive the details you include.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.

When you read our emails

Our email provider, Brevo, records whether you open an email and which links you click. This shows us which messages are useful, so we send fewer that aren't.

How we use your information

• To send the newsletters, offers and news you signed up for.
• To send marketing text messages, only if you agreed to receive them.
• To send appointment reminders and other messages about services you booked.
• To answer your questions.
• To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.

Emails

We use Brevo to store our mailing list and send our emails and text messages. Brevo handles your information on our behalf, only under our instructions, and stores it on servers in the European Union. You can read Brevo's privacy policy on its website.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it and you will stop receiving marketing emails from us. We may still email you about an appointment you booked.

Text messages

If you tick the text message box when you sign up, you agree to the following:

By checking this box, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from The Glow Up Method at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

• Messages share offers, new services and studio news from The Glow Up Method.
• To stop, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one message confirming you have opted out, and no marketing texts after that.
• For help, reply HELP or email theglowupmethod@icloud.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. The sharing described elsewhere in this policy never includes text message opt-in data or consent.

Health information

Anything you share as a patient, including health information from your consultation, is part of your medical record. It is kept separate from our mailing list, handled under the privacy rules that apply to medical records, and never used for marketing. Please don't include health details when you sign up for our emails.

Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Brevo, which stores our mailing list and sends our emails and text messages.
• Calendly, when you book. Our Book buttons take you to Calendly, which collects your booking details under its own privacy policy.
• Empire Medical Training, whose certification badge on our About page loads from its website, so your browser connects to its servers when you view that page.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Links to other sites

This site links to Calendly, Instagram, Google Maps and Empire Medical Training. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising tools. Sites we link to may use cookies on their own pages.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After you unsubscribe, we keep your email address or phone number on a do-not-contact list so we don't message you again by mistake.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link at the bottom of any of them.
• Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts.
• Ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing theglowupmethod@icloud.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our services and mailing list are for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit who can access your information, but no way of sending or storing data online is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
